What Ongoing Support Options Exist After Go-Live?

What ongoing support options exist after the project ends?

Support is available as an annual maintenance arrangement covering a defined service level for issues plus an agreed number of consulting and implementation hours. The shape depends on what was built for you, because a system with several integrations needs different care from a straightforward CRM. There is no obligation to take one, and some clients should not.

What an arrangement typically covers

  • A defined response and resolution commitment for issues with the system we built.
  • An agreed number of hours for consulting and implementation work, used for enhancements, new reports, additional automation, or extending the system as your business changes.
  • Continuity of context. The team already knows your data model, why it was designed that way, and which parts are fragile.

Why context makes the difference

Most of the time spent resolving an issue on an unfamiliar system goes into understanding it first. A partner who built your system and holds the documentation skips that step, which is why an arrangement with your implementation partner usually resolves faster than the same hours bought from someone new. This is not a claim about effort. It is a claim about starting position.

When you do not need one

If your setup is stable, your administrator is capable, and you have no roadmap of changes coming, an ongoing arrangement is money spent on insurance you may not use. Handover is designed to leave you able to run the system yourself, and taking a support arrangement should be a choice rather than a necessity.

What this means for you

Decide based on two things: how much change you expect in the next year, and how confident you are in your internal administrator. If both are low risk, skip it and call us when something comes up.

Next step

Tell us what was built and what you expect to change, and we will propose a shape that fits. Book a call.
